For me the Falklands was a hugely traumatic experience that at 18 I had a great deal of difficulty comprehending. As the years have rolled by I have to deal with the consequences of what I have been through and now 25 years later I am well on the way to finally being at peace with myself. But for 8 members of the Scots Guards the Falklands meant their untimely deaths and the end of their lives.
I recently purchased a wreath and some rememberance crosses that I intend to take with me and leave on Tumbledown and at the cemetery in Port Stanley.
You guys may have gone but by many of us your sacrifice has not been forgotten.
And of course we shall never forget the attached of 9 PARA RE who died along side
