Had a very interesting chat with Bill Slaney's brother who is soon going to be visiting the Falkland Islands for the first time and of course to walk across Tumbeldown

Have to say Bill wasnt too happy about what was written as one sentence of his was taken out of context (or misunderstood by the reported) when he was quoted with the following
I had come from training, only having experienced seven live rounds on the ranges.
Knowing how we had been deployed he was probably referring to the few rounds we got to fire on the way down which was to zero our rifles
