Quora: At the time the British fleet sailed to the Falklands, did the British government fully grasp how ill equipped and resource starved the entire military was to fight a modern conflict?
the way our Politicians treat the armed forces would it have mattered if they new how ill equiped we were back then they would have sent us anyhow. Just imagine if it happened today we couldnt put a fleet together to do it. with less than 20 major war ships in the RN What would we do???
